Martin Bogren was born in 1967 and lives in Malmo- Sweden. His work assumes from a subjektiv personal approach and has been exhibited in major galleries, museums and festivals in Scandinavia, USA, UK, France, Poland, Italy and India.

He started his photography in the bloomimg swedish indiemusic scen in the early 90s – photographing bands for record companys and for magazines. He later toured the world with The Cardigans and in 96 his first photobook with the band was released  (The Cardigans- Been it)

He has frequently traveled the world and in 2008 his second book Ocean was published by Journal. An essay of a group of men from the inner of India who has never seen the ocean before and now traveled through the country to reach the sea. The book was widely exhibited and the book won the honorable prize for best photobook in sweden 2009, and was also shortlisted at the photobook contest in Arles the same year.

In 2011 his 3rd book Lowlands was published by Max Strom and  exhibited at Fotografiska in Stockholm and is curantly touring in Scandinavia, France, Portugal and Ireland.
